And when you're ready, enter microphone mode and load a song in the game. First things first, you may wish to hit Playlist to make a track list of songs you want to belt out. Next time you go to connect this phone to this console, it'll connect straight away. Enter this four digit number into the game to make the microphone connect.ĭon't worry, you'll only need to do this once. It's easy to miss, as it's shown in tiny digits at the top of the screen.
If it works, you'll be asked to enter a code that's showing on the PlayStation game. If so, your only choice - I'm afraid - is to wait for Sony to issue an update. If it still doesn't work, you may have the same problem as a number of people commenting on iTunes. If your receive an error message that says "No games found!", make sure the console is currently running the SingStar game, and that both devices are on the same network. Tap the console you want (in this case, it's the PS4).
If things go well, you'll see a list of nearby systems that are playing SingStar. Close the Help window with the cross button and then press the Connect button. Next, open the SingStar game on your PS3 or PS4 (it's already on your PS3, but you'll find it in the store on PS4), and the SingStar Mic app on your phone. You can find the current network in the system settings on your phone and PlayStation. This shouldn't be a problem, unless you have multiple hotspots.
